Introducing the Drop-out Fuse and Pull Load Drop-out Fuse – your ultimate allies in outdoor high-voltage electrical protection! Expertly engineered for installation on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as vital components within distribution lines, these devices are paramount for shielding against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overload scenarios. Their ingenious design ensures seamless opening and co-loading of current. The drop-out fuse showcases a brilliant combination of an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with static contacts securely placed at both ends of the bracket, complemented by moving contacts affixed to the ends of the fuse tube. Its robust construction features an inner arc tube paired with a resilient outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. Elevating performance, the Pull Load Drop-out Fuse is equipped with auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, artfully designed for smooth current load operations.

During routine operations, the drop-out fuse remains firmly closed, with the fuse tube under tension. Upon encountering a system fault, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, sparking an arc. This arc activates the arc tube, leading to substantial gas decomposition and high-pressure formation inside the tube, creating a vertical wind path that remarkably stretches and elongates the arc. Once the fuse is blown, the moving contact releases tension, swings outward, and the locking mechanism disengages, allowing the fuse tube to drop into a breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is used to draw the moving contact, maintaining contact with the static contact. With continued effort, the auxiliary contacts gently separate, forming an arc between them that stretches within the hood slit. The arc cover, filled with gas, aids in extinguishing the arc as the current reaches zero.

This exceptional product is meticulously crafted for use in 10 to 35KV distribution lines, including branching lines and the primary side of distribution transformers. It delivers steadfast protection against overloads and short circuits while facilitating the effortless separation and combination of the rated load current.
The sophisticated design of this product strictly complies with the JB/T8321-1996 Method for AC high-voltage fuse preparation, while adhering to product parameters that meet the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses Expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards lack specific definitions for vital parameters and configurations, adjustments are made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout stand as premier outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Engineered to seamlessly connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they play a pivotal role in safeguarding transformers and lines from short circuit events and overload conditions, managing the on/off load current with precision. The drop-out fuse cutout consists of insulating insulator supports paired with a fuse tube, where static contacts are securely affixed on both sides of the insulator support, and moving contacts are installed at the fuse tube's ends. The fuse tube is equipped with an internal arc-extinguishing tube, complemented by a robust outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. Similarly, the load switching fuse cutout features enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient on-off load current switching.

Under normal operational conditions, the fuse link maintains the fuse tube in a tightened, closed position. When faults arise, the fault current instantaneously melts the fuse, igniting an electric arc. This heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a large volume of gas that creates high pressure and elongates the arc throughout the tube. After the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning to an open position. For load switching during cutout, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further pulled, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to extinguish the arc as the current reaches zero.
