Purpose-built to serve as the vigilant sentinels of electrical systems, these fuses are strategically deployed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or embedded within distribution lines. Their mission is to offer impregnable protection against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overloads, while adeptly handling open-circuit load currents. Engineered with precision, these fuses boast a robust construction comprising an insulating bracket and fuse tubes. The static contact is securely anchored at each end of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact resides at the extremities of the fuse tube. Ingeniously configured, the fuse tube features an inner arc tube sheathed by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Designed for peak operational performance, the pull load drop-out fuse is equipped with nimble auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, amplifying its operational versatility, especially in scenarios involving open or co-load currents.

In typical operational scenarios, the drop-out fuse remains steadfastly closed, maintaining the fuse tube and fuse under taut conditions. When a system fault arises, the fault current promptly melts the fuse, giving rise to an arc. The arc's intense heat triggers a cascade of gas emergence from the arc tube, elevating the pressure within the tube. This sets off a dynamic vertical airflow along the pipeline, adeptly stretching and elongating the arc. As the fuse reaches its breaking point, the tension in the moving contact dissipates, activating the locking mechanism, which then liberates the fuse tube, ushering it into the breaking position. In instances where standards ambiguously define essential parameters and configurations, precision adjustments are meticulously executed in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable components for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they deliver critical defense against short circuits and overloads, efficiently managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout is equipped with insulate insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely anchored on either side of the insulator support, while moving contacts rest at the ends of the fuse tube. The intricately designed fuse tube includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout features robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient management of on-off loading currents.

Operating under standard conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains securely closed. Upon encountering faults, the fault currents rapidly melt the fuse, engendering an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing abundant gas. This heightened pressure propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, triggering the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube drops out, shifting the cutout to an open state. For switching off during cutout loading, operators employ an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling initiates the disengagement of the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, securing the arc's extinction as the current gracefully approaches zero.
