Introducing the state-of-the-art (H)GW9 outdoor high voltage switch equipment, meticulously engineered for single-phase AC 50Hz applications. Designed to seamlessly integrate into power systems with a rated voltage of 10kV, this equipment facilitates the efficient making or breaking of power supply under specific voltage conditions and when not under load. Its unique design features an isolated hook rod for precise operational control.
Optimal Service Conditions
1. The installation site is best suited for altitudes not exceeding 1000m, ensuring reliability and performance.
2. It thrives in ambient air temperatures ranging from a peak of +40ºC to a low of -30ºC, and can withstand conditions as extreme as -40ºC in Paramos.
3. Designed to endure wind pressures up to 700Pa, equating to a robust wind speed of 34m/s, catering to various weather conditions.
4. Built to withstand seismic activities with an earthquake intensity up to 8 degrees.
5. The device is engineered to function optimally in environments free from frequent, violent vibrations.
6. For enhanced safety, the ordinary type isolator should be installed away from areas with gas, smoke, chemical depositions, salt-spray fog, dust, and other harmful, explosive, or corrosive elements that could compromise the insulation and conduction capabilities.
7. The pollution-proof type isolator is designed for extreme environments with severe filth, provided there are no explosive substances or fire-inducing materials present.
Product Scope
The Type IST off-load switches are expertly crafted for the tropical zone, functioning optimally in temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius, with an average ambient temperature of 28 degrees Celsius amidst high humidity and heavy rainfall. It is ideally operational up to an altitude of 1800 m above sea level.
Electrical System Specifications
Type IST off-load isolator switches are designed for seamless, continuous operation within a 3-phase 3-wire system, supporting voltages of 11, 15, 22, 24, 27, and 33, 36kV at 50/60Hz, with the star-point transformer earthed via an Arc Suppression Coil or Earthing Resistor.
