Expertly designed for installation on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as a support link in distribution lines, these fuses offer robust short circuit and overload protection for transformers and lines. Crafted with precision, the drop-out fuse features an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with static contacts securely positioned at each end. The innovative moving contacts are located at the ends of the fuse tube, which consists of an inner arc tube surrounded by a protective phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth tube. Our pull load drop-out fuse enhances operational flexibility through auxiliary contacts and an arc chute for optimized current handling capabilities.
Experience seamless operation with our drop-out fuse, which maintains a closed position under normal conditions through the tension in the fuse tube. In the event of a system fault, the fault current promptly blows the fuse, generating an arc. This causes the arc tube to decompose large quantities of gas, creating high pressure and a vertical wind effect to swiftly elongate and extinguish the arc. Once the fuse blows, the moving contact loses tension, activating the locking mechanism that releases the fuse tube, thereby forming a break in the circuit. For load handling, use an insulating rod to pull the moving contact. Initially, the moving and static contacts remain engaged; however, continued pulling with the insulating rod causes the auxiliary contacts to separate. An arc appears between the auxiliary contacts and is stretched within the hood slit. Gas expelled from the arc cover extinguishes the arc when the current reaches zero.

Our product models comply with the JB/T8321-1996 standards for AC high-voltage fuses, with parameters crafted according to GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion standards. Recognizing the importance of precise configuration, we adhere to JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for interim technology specifications for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high-voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are sophisticated outdoor high-voltage protective devices designed to connect with incoming feeders of distribution transformers or distribution lines. Their primary function is to safeguard transformers and lines from short circuits and overloads while allowing on/off load current management. These devices are expertly constructed with insulating insulator supports and fuse tubes. Static contacts are firmly fixed on both sides of the insulator support, while moving contacts are installed on either end of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself consists of an inner arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is equipped with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for efficient current switching.
In regular operations, the fuse link secures the fuse tube in a closed position. Upon detection of system faults, the fault current immediately melts the fuse, creating an electric arc. This arc heats the arc-extinguishing tube, triggering the release of gas, which produces high pressure and guides the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, the locking mechanism activates, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open position. To switch off during cutout loading, operators should employ an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As pulling continues, the auxiliary contacts separate, forming an electric arc that is elongated within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, gas expelled during zero-current flow extinguishes the arc.
