The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse serve as premier outdoor high-voltage protection devices for electrical systems. Strategically positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as a pivotal component of distribution lines, these fuses provide unmatched short circuit and overload protection. They effectively handle open and co-load currents, ensuring operational reliability. The drop-out fuse is elegantly constructed with an insulating bracket and robust fuse tubes, featuring static contacts on both ends of the insulation bracket and moving contacts on the ends of the fuse tube. Comprising an inner arc tube and an outer phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth tube, the fuse tube is a marvel of design. The pull load drop-out fuse offers enhanced flexibility through auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, excelling in open and co-load current applications.

In normal operation, the drop-out fuse maintains a closed position via the tensioned fuse tube. Upon system failure, the fault current swiftly blows the fuse, creating an arc. This arc ignites the arc tube, generating a large volume of gas and high pressure within, ushering a vertical wind along the pipeline. This effectively elongates the arc. Post-blowout, the loss of tension in the moving contact triggers a release in the locking mechanism, allowing the fuse tube to drop and break the circuit. For load switching, utilize an insulating rod to tactically disengage the moving contact. Initially, the moving and static contacts remain engaged; however, a continued pull separates the auxiliary contacts, prompting an arc to form and stretch within the hood slit. As the arc cover emits gas, the arc extinguishes when the current reaches zero.

This exceptional product aligns with the JB/T8321-1996 AC high-voltage fuse preparation method. Its parameters are meticulously crafted in accordance with GB15166.3-1994 standards for high voltage expulsion fuses. Despite the absence of clearly defined parameters and configurations, it adheres to JB/DQ2139-1986 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuse interim technology requirements, ensuring precise and reliable performance.
The drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are indispensable outdoor high voltage protective devices. They seamlessly connect with incoming feeders of distribution transformers or distribution lines, offering superior protection from short circuits, overloads, and facilitating on/off loading current. Comprising insulating supports, a fuse tube, and static contacts affixed on both sides of the insulator, with moving contacts at the fuse tube ends, the design is both robust and sophisticated. The fuse tube, consisting of an inside arc-extinguishing tube and an outer phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass tube, is a testament to advanced engineering. The load switching fuse cutout is further enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for efficient on-off loading current management.

Under standard conditions, the fuse link tightly secures the fuse tube in a closed position. In the event of a system fault, the fault current promptly melts the fuse, triggering an electric arc. This heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a significant volume of gas, resulting in high pressure and arc elongation along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tensile strength, initiating a locked mechanism that causes the fuse tube to drop, transitioning the cutout to an open position. For switching off during cutout loading, the operator should employ an insulating rod to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged, but continued pulling separates the auxiliary contacts, creating an arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. The arc-extinguishing gas then rapidly extinguishes the arc as the current approaches zero.
