The fuse tube's construction boasts an advanced inner arc tube and a robust outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse further distinguishes itself with enhanced flexibility, incorporating meticulously designed auxiliary contacts and an arc chute for smooth and efficient current load operations.
In typical operations, the drop-out fuse remains steadfastly secure in a closed position, with the fuse tube carefully tensioned. When system faults are detected, the fault current acts with precision, blowing the fuse and generating an arc. This powerful arc ignites the arc tube, causing it to decompose into large gas volumes and create high pressure inside the tube, channeling a vertical wind path that expertly stretches and elongates the arc. The drop-out fuse cutout incorporates robust insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts securely positioned on both sides and moving contacts skillfully mounted at the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube is constructed with a sophisticated internal arc-extinguishing tube paired with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout includes enhanced, elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient on-off load current transitions.
In standard operational setups, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains tightly shut. Upon encountering faults, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing substantial gas volumes and creating high pressure to elongate the arc within the tube. Post-melting, the moving contact loses tension, enabling the mechanism to unlock and the fuse tube to drop, transitioning to an open state. For cutout load switching, operators use an insulating operating bar to draw the moving contact. Initially, the main contact stays engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further pulled, an electric arc forms between them, extending within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to efficiently extinguish the arc as the current passes through zero.
