They are your first line of defense against transformer and line short circuits, overloads, and enable the seamless opening and management of current loads. The drop-out fuse is a marvel of engineering, crafted from an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, featuring static contacts affixed at either end of the bracket and moving contacts artfully attached to the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube showcases an innovative construction with an inner arc tube paired with an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube for superior performance. Our Pull Load Drop-out Fuse elevates functionality with the addition of auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, meticulously crafted for flawless current load operations.
In day-to-day operations, our drop-out fuse remains securely closed, with the fuse tube precisely tensioned for optimal performance. When faced with a system malfunction, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, creating an arc. This arc ignites the arc tube, catalyzing the decomposition of a substantial gas volume, generating intense pressure within the tube, and forming a vertical wind path. This ingenious process dramatically stretches and elongates the arc, ensuring swift fault isolation. Post-fuse operation, the moving contact releases, rotating outwards, as the locking mechanism disengages, allowing the fuse tube to descend into a breaking position. In scenarios where standards lack comprehensive definitions of critical parameters and configurations, adjustments are seamlessly made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses, ensuring consistent, reliable performance.

Expertly crafted to seamlessly integrate with incoming feeders of distribution transformers or lines, they vigilantly protect against short circuit incidents and overload conditions while adeptly managing on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout is a testament to superior design, featuring insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts strategically placed on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts skillfully installed at the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube is fortified with an internal arc-extinguishing tube paired with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube, ensuring exceptional performance. The load switching fuse cutout is enhanced with resilient auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for proficient on-off load current switching.
In standard operational scenarios, our fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains tightly secured in a closed position. When faults arise, the fault current promptly melts the fuse link, initiating an electric arc. This process heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a substantial volume of gas, creating high pressure and elongating the arc throughout the tube. Upon fuse link melting, the moving contact tension is released, allowing the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning smoothly to an open position. For load switching during cutout, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to expertly manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the main contact engages with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is strategically pulled, an electric arc forms between them, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism efficiently expels gas to extinguish the arc as the current reaches zero, ensuring a safe and reliable transition.
