The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are indispensable outdoor high-voltage protective devices, expertly crafted to serve as the stalwart guardians of electric systems. When strategically positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or within distribution lines, these fuses provide formidable protection against transformer and line short circuits as well as overloads, while adeptly managing open-circuit load currents. Their rugged construction includes an insulating bracket and fuse tubes; static contacts are securely anchored on each end of the insulation bracket, while moving contacts are positioned at the fuse tube's extremities. Ingeniously designed, the fuse tube features an inner arc tube shielded by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Engineered for operational brilliance, the pull load drop-out fuse is equipped with agile auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, enhancing its operational flexibility, particularly when dealing with open or co-load currents.

In routine operations, the drop-out fuse remains closed, maintaining the fuse tube and fuse in a taut state. When a system fault arises, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, initiating the formation of an arc. The arc's intense heat causes a release of gas from the arc tube, elevating the pressure within the tube. This process initiates a vertical airflow along the pipeline, which skillfully stretches and lengthens the arc. As the fuse blows, the tension of the moving contact dissipates, activating the locking mechanism, which then releases the fuse tube, guiding it into the breaking position. For load pulling scenarios, an insulating rod is used to disengage the moving contact, initially preserving its connection with the static contact. Continued pulling with the insulating rod results in the auxiliary contacts disengaging, forming and elongating an arc within the hood slit. The gas within the arc cover facilitates the arc's extinction when the current decreases to zero.

It is meticulously engineered to meet the stringent GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In instances where standards ambiguously define crucial parameters and configurations, precise adjustments are made in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are essential for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they offer vital defense against short circuits and overloads, efficiently managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout features insulation insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely placed on either side of the insulator support, and moving contacts rest at the ends of the fuse tube. The intricate design of the fuse tube includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, encapsulated by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout boasts robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring proficient management of on-off loading currents.

Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link ensures that the fuse tube remains securely closed. When faults occur, fault currents rapidly melt the fuse, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing copious gas. This high pressure propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, activating the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact stay engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current reaches zero.
