Service conditions
1. Engineered for excellence at altitudes up to 1000m, ensuring robust performance even in elevated terrains.
2. Endure the elements with an ambient air temperature range: Maximum: +40ºC; Minimum: -30ºC, with Paramos enduring down to -40ºC, showcasing adaptability to extreme temperature variations.
3. Withstand wind pressures up to 700Pa, which corresponds to wind speeds of 34m/s, affirming its resilience against strong winds.
4. Crafted to endure seismic activities, this product withstands earthquake intensities up to 8 degrees, offering stability and safety.
5. Built for stability, it operates in environments free from frequent violent vibration, ensuring uninterrupted functionality.
6. For optimal performance, the installation of the ordinary type isolator should be in environments away from gas, smoke, chemical deposition, salt-spray fog, dust, and other explosive or corrosive substances that could compromise insulation and conduction capabilities.
7. The pollution-proof type isolator is engineered for areas with severe contamination, yet it should be free from explosive substances and incendiary risks, ensuring safety and functionality.

Type IST off-load switches are meticulously designed for tropical zones, thriving in maximum ambient temperatures of approximately 40 degrees Celsius and an average of 28 degrees Celsius, even amid high humidity and heavy rainfall. Preferred operational altitudes extend up to 1800m above sea level, exemplifying versatility in diverse climates.
Electrical System
Type IST off-load isolator switches are expertly crafted for continuous operation on 3-phase, 3-wire distribution systems at 11, 15, 22, 24, 27, and 33, 36kV, 50/60Hz. With the star-point of the source-point transformer securely earthed through an Arc Suppression Coil or Earthing Resistor, these switches ensure reliable and safe power distribution.
