General
The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are pivotal components in high-voltage outdoor protective systems, specially designed to shield your electrical systems with utmost reliability. Strategically positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as ancillary links within distribution lines, these fuses stand as sentinels against transformer and line short circuits, overloads, and adeptly manage open-circuit load currents. Comprising an insulating bracket and robust fuse tubes, with static contacts firmly affixed to the bracket's ends and moving contacts securely mounted on the fuse tube ends, these devices are engineered for durability. The fuse tube features an inner arc tube embraced by a resilient outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Notably, the pull load drop-out fuse is enhanced with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, thus ensuring superior operational dexterity when dealing with open or co-load currents.
In its standard operational mode, the drop-out fuse is primed in a closed state, holding the fuse tube and fuse under calculated tension. Upon encountering a system fault, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, initiating an arc. The arc tube, subjected to the arc's ferocity, unleashes a torrent of gas, creating a high-pressure environment within the tube. This orchestrates a vertical wind that stretches and elongates the arc efficiently. As the fuse expends its charge, the moving contact relinquishes its tension, triggering the locking mechanism to release the fuse tube, propelling it into the breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is utilized to disengage the moving contact, ensuring initial contact retention with the static contact. Continued application of the insulating rod results in auxiliary contact separation, whereupon an arc forms and elongates within the hood slit. The arc cover's internal gas plays a crucial role in arc extinguishment as the current subsides to zero.

The product model is meticulously aligned with the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation, reflecting an unwavering commitment to quality and precision. It is rigorously engineered in accordance with the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In scenarios where standards offer ambiguous guidance on key parameters and configurations, adjustments are made in strict adherence to JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology, ensuring absolute compliance and reliability.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are essential fortresses of protection in outdoor high voltage scenarios. Seamlessly integrated with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they provide indispensable defense against short circuits and overloads while expertly handling on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout includes insulate insulator supports and a robust fuse tube, with static contacts firmly stationed on each side of the insulator support and moving contacts precisely installed at the fuse tube's ends. The fuse tube's design features an inner arc-extinguishing tube, covered by an outer layer of phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass tube, ensuring optimal performance. The load switching fuse cutout boasts reinforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, adeptly managing on-off loading current with precision and reliability.
In normal operational conditions, the fuse link secures the fuse tube in a decisively closed position. Upon encountering system faults, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc that superheats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing copious gas and creating a high-pressure zone that propels the arc along the tube. When the fuse link melts, the moving contact's tension is lost, the mechanism locks, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open position. For a seamless cutout load operation, operators use an insulating operating bar to disengage the moving contact. Initially, both the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged; however, continued pulling results in auxiliary contact separation, forming an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism liberates gas, extinguishing the arc as the current reaches zero, ensuring smooth operation and safety.
