The Drop-out Fuse and Pull Load Drop-out Fuse are paramount solutions for outdoor high-voltage electrical protection. These devices are expertly engineered to be strategically positioned either on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as indispensable support links in distribution lines. They serve as pivotal safeguards against transformer and line short circuits and overload conditions, and they facilitate the seamless opening and co-loading of current. The drop-out fuse is masterfully crafted using an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with static contacts meticulously affixed at both ends of the bracket, while moving contacts are attached to the ends of the fuse tube. The construction of the fuse tube boasts an inner arc tube elegantly coupled with an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse excels with enhanced flexibility through auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, specifically designed for flawless current load operations.

During standard operations, the drop-out fuse remains securely held in a closed position, with the fuse tube meticulously tensioned. Upon system malfunction, the fault current swiftly blows the fuse, igniting an arc. This arc activates the arc tube, causing a decomposition of substantial gas volumes, which create high pressure inside the tube and generate a vertical wind path. This ingenious mechanism rapidly stretches and elongates the arc. After the fuse has blown, the moving contact gracefully releases tension and rotates outward, while the locking mechanism disengages, allowing the fuse tube to drop and achieve a break position. When it’s necessary to pull the load, an insulating rod is adeptly used to pull the moving contact, maintaining contact with the static contact. With continued effort, the auxiliary contacts separate, generating an arc between them that is stretched within the hood slit. The meticulous design of this product adheres to the JB/T8321-1996 Method for AC high-voltage fuse preparation, while the product parameters are aligned with GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses Expulsion fuses standards. Where the standards lack detailed definitions of critical parameters and configurations, adjustments are made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are premier solutions for outdoor high-voltage protection. Designed to connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they play a vital role in safeguarding transformers and lines from short circuit incidents and overload conditions while managing the on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout comprises insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts securely affixed on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube features an internal arc-extinguishing tube paired with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout also includes reinforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for efficient on-off load current switching.

In standard operational scenarios, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube is firmly tightened to maintain a closed position. When faults occur, the fault current causes the fuse to melt immediately, resulting in an electric arc. This initiates the arc-extinguishing tube to heat up and release a substantial volume of gas, which creates high pressure and elongates the arc throughout the tube. Following the fuse link's melting, the moving contact loses its tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning to an open position. For load switching during cutout, operators must skillfully use an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact maintains engagement with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further pulled, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to extinguish the arc as the current passes through zero.
