General
The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are paramount outdoor high-voltage protection devices, meticulously designed to safeguard electric systems. Strategically positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or within distribution lines, these fuses deliver unparalleled protection against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overloads. They are adept at managing open-circuit load currents with precision. The construction is robust, featuring an insulating bracket and fuse tubes; the static contact is secured firmly at each end of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact is at the extremities of the fuse tube. The fuse tube is ingeniously designed with an inner arc tube encased by an outer layer of phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Designed for operational excellence, the pull load drop-out fuse is enhanced with agile auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, greatly improving its operational flexibility, especially when handling open or co-load currents.
During standard operations, the drop-out fuse remains closed, ensuring the fuse tube and fuse are tightly secured. When a system fault occurs, the fault current quickly melts the fuse, creating an arc. This arc generates intense heat, causing gas to be expelled from the arc tube, which increases the pressure inside the tube. This initiates a vertical airflow along the pipeline, skillfully stretching and lengthening the arc. As the fuse blows, the tension of the moving contact is released, triggering the locking mechanism and releasing the fuse tube, coaxing it into the breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is employed to disengage the moving contact, initially maintaining contact with the static contact. Persistent pulling with the insulating rod causes the auxiliary contacts to detach, forming and elongating an arc within the hood slit. The arc cover's gas aids in the arc's extinction when the current reaches zero.

With a brilliant design tailored for 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branching lines, and the primary sides of distribution transformers, this product acts as a fortress against overloads and short circuits. It skillfully manages the separation and union of rated load currents, ensuring operational reliability and safety.
Crafted to align with exemplary standards, the product model conforms to the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. Engineered with precision, it meets the rigorous GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards ambiguously define critical parameters and configurations, precision adjustments are implemented in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they provide essential defense against short circuits and overloads, efficiently managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout features insulate insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely placed on either side of the insulator support, while moving contacts rest at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube's intricate design includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, encased by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout boasts robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring proficient management of on-off loading currents.
Under normal operating conditions, the fuse link ensures that the fuse tube remains securely closed. When faults occur, fault currents rapidly melt the fuse, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing copious gas. This high pressure propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, triggering the locking mechanism, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact stay engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current hits zero.
