The Drop-out Fuse and Pull Load Drop-out Fuse represent the pinnacle of outdoor high-voltage protection, offering unparalleled reliability for electrical systems. Meticulously engineered, these devices are strategically placed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or serve as pivotal connection points within distribution lines. They are indispensable for shielding against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overload conditions, while streamlining the opening and co-loading of current. Crafted with precision, the drop-out fuse consists of an insulating bracket and robust fuse tubes, complemented by static contacts at both ends of the bracket and dynamic moving contacts at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube's architecture includes an inner arc tube and an exterior phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse is further enhanced with additional flexibility, featuring auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, which are expertly designed for seamless current load operations and superior performance.

During typical operations, the drop-out fuse is meticulously held in a secure, closed position with the fuse tube under tension. In the event of a system anomaly, the fault current acts swiftly to blow the fuse, creating an arc. This arc activation ignites the arc tube, leading to the decomposition of significant gas volumes, which in turn creates high pressure within the tube and generates a powerful vertical wind path. This extraordinary mechanism rapidly stretches and prolongs the arc, ensuring swift and effective fault management. Once the fuse has blown, the moving contact loses tension and rotates outwards, as the locking mechanism disengages, allowing the fuse tube to drop and achieve a precise breaking position. When load pulling becomes necessary, an insulating rod is utilized to pull the moving contact while maintaining contact with the static contact. With continued exertion, the auxiliary contacts separate, and an arc forms between them, which is stretched within the hood slit. In instances where the standards do not provide comprehensive definitions of critical parameters and configurations, modifications are made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses, ensuring the product meets and exceeds industry expectations for performance and safety.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout stand as premier exemplars of outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Expertly designed to interface with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they play an integral role in protecting transformers and lines from short circuits and overloads, while adeptly managing the on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout comprises insulating insulator supports and a robust fuse tube, with static contacts affixed on both sides of the insulator support and dynamic moving contacts installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube features an internal arc-extinguishing mechanism, along with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is further enhanced with enforced flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient and reliable on-off load current management.

In standard operational contexts, the fuse link is instrumental in ensuring the fuse tube is tightened, maintaining the closed position. Upon encountering faults, the fault current causes the fuse to melt instantaneously, generating an electric arc. This results in the arc-extinguishing tube heating up and releasing substantial volumes of gas, creating high pressure that elongates the arc throughout the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning to an open position. For load switching during cutout, operators must skillfully use an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is progressively pulled, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts and elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap.
