General
The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are paramount in the realm of outdoor high-voltage protective devices, meticulously designed to safeguard electric systems with unmatched precision. Positioned strategically on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or embedded within distribution lines, these fuses serve as a stalwart defense against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overload incidents, while seamlessly handling open-circuit load currents. Their robust architecture boasts an insulating bracket and fuse tubes; with static contacts resiliently affixed at each end of the bracket, and moving contacts strategically located at the extremities of the fuse tubes. Ingeniously engineered, the fuse tube comprises an inner arc tube, elegantly shielded by an outer layer of phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. Crafted for superior performance, the pull load drop-out fuse is enhanced with nimble auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, intensifying its operational versatility, especially when managing open or co-load currents.
In routine operations, the drop-out fuse remains securely closed, with the fuse tube and fuse maintained under tension. When a fault arises within the system, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, giving rise to an arc. The arc's intense heat triggers a vigorous release of gas from the arc tube, elevating the pressure within. This action initiates a vertical air current along the conduit, which adeptly elongates and stretches the arc. As the fuse is blown, the moving contact loses its tension, activating the locking mechanism, which deftly releases the fuse tube into its breaking position. For load disengagement, an insulating rod is utilized to disengage the moving contact, while initially keeping it linked with the static contact. Consistent pulling with the rod ensures the auxiliary contacts disconnect, forming and extending an arc within the hood's slit. The arc cover's gas aids in extinguishing the arc once the current falls to zero.

This product boasts an innovative design, custom-made for 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branch lines, and the primary sides of distribution transformers. It stands vigilant as a formidable protector against overloads and short circuits, while adeptly managing the seamless separation and connection of rated load currents.
In compliance with industry-leading standards, the product model is meticulously aligned with the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is crafted with precision to meet the rigorous GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. Whenever standards ambiguously define essential parameters and configurations, precision modifications are carried out in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable components for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they deliver crucial defense against short circuits and overloads, proficiently managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout is equipped with insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely positioned on either side of the insulator support, while moving contacts reside at the ends of the fuse tube. The sophisticated design of the fuse tube includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, elegantly encased by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout features resilient elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring adept handling of on-off loading currents.
Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link guarantees that the fuse tube stays securely closed. When faults occur, fault currents swiftly melt the fuse, generating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing abundant gas. This elevated pressure propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, activating the locking mechanism, causing the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators employ an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, however, further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, producing an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current reaches zero.
