The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are pivotal outdoor high-voltage protective devices, acting as the ultimate guardians of electric systems. Strategically situated on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or nestled within distribution lines, these fuses provide formidable protection against transformer and line short circuits as well as overloads, while proficiently managing open-circuit load currents. Their robust construction showcases an insulating bracket and fuse tubes; the static contact is firmly anchored on each end of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact is stationed at the fuse tube's extremities. Ingeniously designed, the fuse tube is equipped with an inner arc tube encased by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Tailored for operational excellence, the pull load drop-out fuse is outfitted with nimble auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, amplifying its operational dexterity, particularly when contending with open or co-load currents.

In the realm of everyday operations, the drop-out fuse remains closed, maintaining the fuse tube and fuse in a state of taut readiness. When a system fault occurs, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, igniting an arc. This arc's intense heat precipitates an outpouring of gas from the arc tube, significantly raising the pressure within. A vertical airflow ensues along the pipeline, skillfully stretching and lengthening the arc. As the fuse blows, the moving contact's tension dissipates, triggering the locking mechanism, which then releases the fuse tube, coaxing it into the breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is utilized to disengage the moving contact, initially preserving its connection with the static contact. With persistent pulling using the insulating rod, the auxiliary contacts detach, forming and elongating an arc within the hood slit. The gas from the arc cover aids in extinguishing the arc when the current falls to zero.

This product is distinguished by its ingenious design, tailored for 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branching lines, and the primary sides of distribution transformers. It serves as a stalwart defender against overloads and short circuits, while skillfully facilitating the separation and union of rated load currents.
Aligning with exemplary standards, the product model complies with the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is meticulously engineered to meet the stringent requirements set by the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards ambiguously define crucial parameters and configurations, precision adjustments are executed in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they offer critical defense against short circuits and overloads, efficiently managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout features insulated insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely positioned on either side of the insulator support, while moving contacts rest at the ends of the fuse tube. The intricately designed fuse tube includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, encapsulated by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is characterized by robust, elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring proficient management of on-off loading currents.

Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link guarantees that the fuse tube remains securely closed. When faults arise, fault currents rapidly melt the fuse, setting off an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing ample gas. This high pressure propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, activating the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators employ an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current reaches zero.
