The drop-out fuse exhibits an advanced design featuring an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with static contacts securely mounted at each end of the bracket and moving contacts precisely attached to the ends of the fuse tube. The innovative construction of the fuse tube includes a sophisticated inner arc tube, ingeniously paired with an outer phenolic paper tube or durable epoxy glass cloth tube. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse offers remarkable adaptability, thanks to its auxiliary contacts and arc chute, specifically engineered for effortless current load operations.
During routine operations, the drop-out fuse is meticulously secured in a closed position with the fuse tube tensioned to perfection. The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout represent the pinnacle of outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they play an essential role in safeguarding transformers and lines from potential short circuit incidents and overload conditions while deftly managing the on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout is masterfully constructed with insulating insulator supports and a robust fuse tube, with static contacts firmly secured on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts expertly installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube is ingeniously designed with an internal arc-extinguishing tube accompanied by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is further enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient on-off load current switching.
In typical operational scenarios, the fuse link is meticulously designed to ensure the fuse tube remains tightened, maintaining a secure closed position. Upon the occurrence of faults, the fault current swiftly causes the fuse to melt, generating an electric arc. This, in turn, heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a significant volume of gas, which creates high pressure and effectively elongates the arc throughout the tube. After the fuse link has melted, the moving contact effortlessly loses its tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to elegantly drop out, switching to a definitive open position. For load switching during cutout, operators are required to utilize an insulating operating bar to skillfully pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains firmly engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further manipulated, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism efficiently expels gas, facilitating the arc's extinguishment as the current gracefully passes through zero.
