The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are essential, high-performance outdoor high-voltage protective devices, engineered to be the steadfast guardians of electrical systems. Strategically installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or along distribution lines, these fuses deliver unparalleled protection against transformer and line short circuits and overloads, while efficiently managing open-circuit load currents. Their robust architecture is highlighted by an insulating bracket and fuse tubes; the static contact is securely mounted at each end of the insulation bracket, and the moving contact is positioned at the fuse tube's extremities. The fuse tube features a sophisticated configuration, with an inner arc tube encased by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Designed for superior operational performance, the pull load drop-out fuse is enhanced with nimble auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, which significantly boost its operational flexibility, especially when managing open or co-load currents.

During typical operations, the drop-out fuse remains closed, maintaining the fuse tube and fuse in a state of tension. When a system fault occurs, the fault current quickly melts the fuse, creating an arc. The intense heat of the arc generates a gas release from the arc tube, increasing the pressure inside the tube. This creates a vertical airflow along the pipeline, which skillfully stretches and lengthens the arc. As the fuse blows, the moving contact loses its tension, activating the locking mechanism, which subsequently releases the fuse tube, guiding it into the breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is used to disengage the moving contact, initially keeping it connected with the static contact. Persistent pulling with the insulating rod causes the auxiliary contacts to detach, forming and elongating an arc within the hood slit. The gas from the arc cover aids the arc's extinction as the current approaches zero.

This product adheres to the highest standards, aligning with the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is meticulously crafted to comply with the rigorous GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards ambiguously define crucial parameters and configurations, precision adjustments are executed in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly incorporated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they provide essential defense against short circuits and overloads, expertly managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout showcases insulate insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are firmly placed on either side of the insulator support, with moving contacts resting at the ends of the fuse tube. The intricate design of the fuse tube includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout features robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring proficient management of on-off loading currents.

Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains securely closed. When faults emerge, fault currents swiftly melt the fuse, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing abundant gas. This high pressure propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, triggering the lock mechanism, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. At first, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current reaches zero.
