The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are indispensable outdoor high-voltage protective devices, meticulously designed as the paramount protectors of electrical systems. Strategically positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or within distribution lines, these fuses offer unparalleled protection against transformer and line short circuits as well as overloads, while expertly handling open-circuit load currents. Featuring a robust construction, the design incorporates an insulating bracket and fuse tubes; the static contact is securely anchored at each end of the insulation bracket, with the moving contact strategically placed at the extremities of the fuse tube. The fuse tube is ingeniously crafted with an inner arc tube surrounded by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. For optimal operational performance, the pull load drop-out fuse is equipped with nimble auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, enhancing its operational dexterity, particularly in managing open or co-load currents.

During routine operations, the drop-out fuse remains closed, keeping the fuse tube and fuse under tension. When a system fault occurs, the fault current promptly melts the fuse, creating an arc. The intense heat from the arc causes gas to be expelled from the arc tube, increasing the pressure within the tube. This generates a vertical airflow along the pipeline, effectively stretching and elongating the arc. As the fuse operates, the tension of the moving contact is released, activating the locking mechanism, which in turn releases the fuse tube, guiding it to the breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is used to disengage the moving contact, initially maintaining contact with the static contact. Continued pulling with the insulating rod causes the auxiliary contacts to detach, forming and elongating an arc within the hood slit. The arc cover's gas aids in extinguishing the arc when the current falls to zero.

It is meticulously engineered to comply with the rigorous GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In instances where standards ambiguously define crucial parameters and configurations, precision adjustments are made in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are essential for outdoor high voltage protection on distribution transformers or lines. Seamlessly integrated, these devices offer vital defense against short circuits and overloads, efficiently managing on/off load currents. The drop-out fuse cutout incorporates insulated insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely placed on either side of the insulator support, while moving contacts rest at the ends of the fuse tube. The intricate design of the fuse tube includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout features robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring proficient management of on-off load currents.

Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link maintains the fuse tube in a securely closed state. When faults arise, fault currents rapidly melt the fuse, resulting in an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a significant volume of gas. This high pressure propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, activating the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube drops out, shifting the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating bar to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current reaches zero.
