Our Drop-out Fuse and Pull Load Drop-out Fuse serve as stalwart guardians of outdoor high-voltage electrical systems. Positioned strategically on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as a pivotal support link in distribution lines, they provide robust protection against short circuits, overloads, and facilitate seamless current transitions. Constructed with an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, these devices feature static contacts at each end of the bracket and dynamic contacts on the fuse tubes. The fuse tube itself is masterfully crafted from both an inner arc tube and an outer shell made from either phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth, ensuring durability and reliability. The pull load drop-out fuse is further enhanced with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, bolstering its ability to manage and open co-load currents with precision.

During standard operations, the fuse tube remains closed, held by the tension of the fuse itself. Upon encountering a system fault, the resulting fault current swiftly disrupts the fuse, igniting an arc. This arc ignites the arc tube, causing it to decompose and release a significant volume of gas, thereby creating high pressure within the tube. This pressure generates a powerful vertical wind that stretches and elongates the arc. Once the fuse has blown, the moving contact loses its tension, activating the locking mechanism, which releases the fuse tube and causes it to drop, thereby breaking the circuit. For load operations, an insulating rod is employed to maneuver the moving contact. Initially, both moving and static contacts remain engaged. As the rod continues to pull, the auxiliary contacts separate, producing an arc that stretches within the hood slit. The arc cover is designed to extinguish the arc once the current reaches zero.

Adjustments are guided by JB/DQ2139-198610 ~ 35KV outdoor high-voltage drop fuse interim technology, ensuring all essential parameters and configurations meet exacting standards.
Drop-out Fuse Cutouts and Load Switching Fuse Cutouts are paramount outdoor high voltage protective devices. They seamlessly connect to the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines. Their primary function is to safeguard transformers and lines from short circuits and overload scenarios, while adeptly managing on/off loading currents. The assembly consists of insulating support structures and a robust fuse tube. Static contacts are securely fastened on both sides of the insulator support, with the dynamic contact affixed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube features an internal arc-extinguishing tube and an outer layer composed of phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. The load switching fuse cutout is further refined with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, facilitating smooth and efficient current transitions.

Under normal operation, the fuse link fortifies the fuse tube in a secured closed position. When system faults arise, the fault current promptly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc. This arc heats the arc-extinguishing tube, causing a release of gas that produces high pressure and directs the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link has melted, the moving contact loses its strength, engaging the locking mechanism and causing the fuse tube to drop, transitioning the cutout to an open position. When switching off during cutout loading, operators employ an insulating operating bar to maneuver the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is pulled apart, an electric arc forms and extends within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. This extension, coupled with the arc-extinguishing gas, extinguishes the arc as the current reaches zero.
