General
The illustrious drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are indispensable outdoor high-voltage guardians, designed to robustly protect and secure electrical systems. These devices are strategically installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or integrated as vital links in distribution lines. Their primary role encompasses shielding against transformer and line short circuits, mitigating overloads, and facilitating open-circuit load currents. Engineered with precision, each fuse consists of an insulating bracket paired with fuse tubes. The static contact is meticulously mounted on both ends of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact is tactically installed at the fuse tube's extremities. The fuse tube is expertly crafted from an inner arc tube elegantly enclosed by an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. The pull load drop-out fuse boasts flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, accentuating operational dexterity with co-load current interruptions.
In normal operational scenarios, the drop-out fuse is securely positioned in a closed state, with both the fuse tube and fuse under tension. When a system anomaly arises, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, birthing an arc. This arc dramatically heats the arc tube, which in turn emits copious gas volumes, generating immense internal pressure. This clever design creates a targeted vertical airflow, stretching and extending the arc with finesse. Upon the fuse's rupture, the moving contact's tension diminishes, the locking mechanism is activated, and the fuse tube gracefully transitions to the breaking stance. To manipulate the load, an insulating rod is deftly used to disengage the moving contact, maintaining a preliminary connection with the static contact. Continued rod manipulation gently separates the auxiliary contacts, allowing an arc to form and elongate gracefully within the hood slit. The arc cover's gas dramatically aids in extinguishing the arc at the critical zero current juncture.

It meets the rigorous demands of the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In instances where standards present ambiguity in essential parameters and configurations, adjustments are made in line with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are essential outdoor high voltage sentinels, seamlessly integrated with the incoming feeders of distribution transformers or distribution lines. They provide unparalleled protection against short circuits and overloads, expertly managing the on/off loading currents. These cutouts are composed of resilient insulate insulator supports coupled with a fuse tube. Static contacts are firmly secured on either side of the insulator support, while moving contacts are adeptly placed at the fuse tube's terminals. The fuse tube's design features an inner arc-extinguishing tube gracefully enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is enhanced with robust elastic auxiliary contacts and a sophisticated arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring adept management of on-off loading current intricacies.
Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link ensures that the fuse tube remains in a secure closed position. Upon encountering a system fault, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, generating a dynamic electric arc. This arc heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing significant gas volumes, thus creating high pressure that propels the arc along the tube with precision. When the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, the mechanism locks into place, and the fuse tube gracefully descends into the open position. For load cutout switching, operators use an insulating operating bar to delicately pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact maintain engagement, but continued pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elegantly elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism liberally releases gas, extinguishing the arc at the pivotal moment when the current reaches zero.
