General
Crafted for excellence, our Drop-out Fuse and Load Drop-out Fuse serve as the quintessential outdoor high-voltage electrical guardians. These devices grace the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or link seamlessly with distribution lines, providing short circuit and overload protection while managing co-load current with finesse. The drop-out fuse's robust design consists of an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, where static contacts are securely mounted at each end of the bracket, while moving contacts are fixed to the ends of the fuse tube. This ingenious construction features an inner arc tube paired with an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. The load drop-out fuse elevates performance with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute designed for effective co-load current management.
During regular operation, the drop-out fuse tube, under tension, remains firmly in the closed position. In the event of a system fault, the fault current immediately fuses, forming an arc. This results in the electric arc igniting the arc tube, releasing a substantial amount of gas to create high pressure, which stretches and elongates the arc swiftly. As the fuse blows, the moving contact loses its tension, unlocking the mechanism and allowing the fuse tube to drop into the open position. For load management, operators utilize an insulating rod to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the moving and static contacts remain engaged, but continued pulling with the insulating rod separates the auxiliary contacts. An arc develops between these auxiliary contacts and elongates within the hood slit, with the arc extinguishing as the current reaches zero, facilitated by the gas within the arc cover.
Use and Standards
Our product shines in 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branching lines, and primary sides of distribution transformers. It is designed for exceptional overload and short-circuit protection while adeptly handling the separation and combination of the rated load current.
Our product model adheres to the esteemed JB/T8321-1996 standard for AC high-voltage fuses, with product parameters aligned with GB15166.3-1994 standards for high-voltage expulsion fuses. Where standards lack specificity in critical parameters and configurations, we refine our offerings based on JB/DQ2139-1986's interim technology for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout stand as stalwart outdoor high-voltage protection devices. They connect seamlessly with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, safeguarding transformers and lines from short circuits and overloads while managing on/off load currents. These cutouts are engineered with insulating insulator supports and fuse tubes. Static contacts secure both sides of the support, while moving contacts are affixed to the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube features an inner arc-extinguishing tube paired with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. For enhanced load management, the load switching fuse cutout is equipped with elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure to masterfully switch on-off loading currents.
In standard operations, the fuse tube is tightly secured in the closed position via the fuse link. When faults arise, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, producing an electric arc. This ignites the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing gas that generates high pressure to blow along the tube. Once the fuse melts, the moving contact loses its tension, triggering a lock mechanism, and the fuse tube drops to open the cutout. For load switching, operators employ an insulating operating bar to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain connected, but further pulling separates the auxiliary contact. The resulting electrical arc elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap, with gas expelling and extinguishing the arc as current passes through zero.

A. Our factory is located in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. You can fly to Longwan airport directly. All our clients,from home or abroad, are warmly welcome to visit us!

A. We accept TT. 30% deposit and 70% before shipment, Western Union, L/C At Sight is ok! We'll l show you the photos of the products and packages before you pay the balance.
