These sophisticated devices are meticulously positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as vital components in distribution lines. They offer unparalleled protection against transformer and line short circuits, overload conditions, and facilitate the seamless opening and co-loading of currents. Ingeniously crafted, the drop-out fuse incorporates an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with the static contacts expertly affixed at both ends of the bracket, while the moving contacts are attached at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube construction features an inner arc tube coupled with an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube, ensuring durability and reliability. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse takes flexibility to a new level, boasting auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, purposefully designed for smooth current load operations.
During typical operations, the drop-out fuse is reliably maintained in a closed position with the fuse tube precisely tensioned. In the event of a malfunction, the fault current promptly blows the fuse, generating an arc that ignites the arc tube. This event triggers a decomposition process, releasing large gas volumes, creating high pressure within the tube, and forging a vertical wind path that intriguingly stretches and elongates the arc. Once the fuse is blown, the moving contact releases its tension and rotates outwards, while the locking mechanism disengages, allowing the fuse tube to gracefully drop, achieving a breaking position. Should it be necessary to pull the load, an insulating rod is adeptly used to pull the moving contact, maintaining its engagement with the static contact. With continued effort, the auxiliary contacts separate, forming an arc between them, which stretches within the hood slit. The arc cover, rich with gas, assists in extinguishing the arc as the current reaches zero, ensuring a safe and efficient operation.

In instances where standards lack detailed definitions of critical parameters and configurations, adjustments are expertly made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses, guaranteeing precision and reliability.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are the epitome of outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Designed with precision to connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they play an indispensable role in safeguarding transformers and lines from short circuit incidents and overload conditions while efficiently managing on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout is composed of insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts strategically fixed on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts precisely installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube showcases an internal arc-extinguishing tube alongside an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube, ensuring superior protection. The load switching fuse cutout is enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for proficient on-off load current switching, maximizing performance and safety.
In normal operational scenarios, the fuse link guarantees that the fuse tube is securely tightened to maintain a closed position. When faults arise, the fault current causes the fuse to melt immediately, generating a dynamic electric arc. This action heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a substantial volume of gas, creating high pressure, and elongating the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, allowing the mechanism to unlock and the fuse tube to gracefully drop out, switching to an open position. For load switching during cutout, operators employ an insulating operating bar to skillfully pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact maintains engagement with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further pulled, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to extinguish the arc as the current passes through zero, ensuring a safe and effective operation.
