General
The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse stand as pivotal outdoor high-voltage protective devices, crafted to be the guardians of electric systems. Positioned strategically on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or embedded within distribution lines, these fuses deliver unmatched protection against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overloads, while expertly managing open-circuit load currents. Their robust construction showcases an insulating bracket and fuse tubes; the static contact is firmly secured on each end of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact is positioned at the fuse tube's extremities. The fuse tube is ingeniously configured with an inner arc tube surrounded by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Designed for operational excellence and reliability, the pull load drop-out fuse comes equipped with agile auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, which enhance its operational flexibility, especially when tackling open or co-load currents.
In everyday operations, the drop-out fuse remains steadfastly closed, keeping the fuse tube and fuse taut. When a system fault arises, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, birthing an arc. The intense heat from the arc propels an outpouring of gas from the arc tube, heightening the pressure inside the tube. This initiates a vertical airflow along the pipeline, which skillfully stretches and lengthens the arc. As the fuse blows, the tension of the moving contact is lost, triggering the locking mechanism, which then releases the fuse tube, coaxing it into the breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is employed to disengage the moving contact, initially maintaining its connection with the static contact. Persistent pulling with the insulating rod causes the auxiliary contacts to detach, forming and elongating an arc within the hood slit. The arc cover's gas facilitates the arc's extinction when the current dips to zero, ensuring seamless power management and enhanced safety.

Adhering to exemplary standards, the product model aligns with the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is meticulously engineered to meet the stringent GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. Should standards ambiguously define crucial parameters and configurations, precision adjustments are made in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology, guaranteeing precision and compliance with industry excellence.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are essential components of outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they deliver vital defense against short circuits and overloads, efficiently managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout features insulate insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely placed on either side of the insulator support, and moving contacts rest at the ends of the fuse tube. The intricate design of the fuse tube includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, encapsulated by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout boasts robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring proficient management of on-off loading currents, providing durability and reliability in power distribution.
Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link ensures that the fuse tube remains securely closed. When faults occur, fault currents rapidly melt the fuse, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing copious gas, propelling the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, triggering the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact stay engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current hits zero. This sophisticated mechanism ensures seamless operation and robust safety measures, safeguarding electrical assets effectively.
