The drop-out fuse and load-switching drop-out fuse represent pinnacle advancements in outdoor high-voltage electrical protection. They are strategically installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as integral components of distribution lines. During load disconnection, the insulating rod is employed to manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the static and moving contacts remain engaged. Under normal working conditions, the fuse link secures the fuse tube in a closed position.
