The fuse tube itself is a marvel, composed of an inner arc tube paired with a protective outer shell of phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse offers unparalleled operational flexibility through auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, crafted specifically for smooth current load handling.

During typical operations, this drop-out fuse is steadfastly locked in a closed position, with the fuse tube poised under tension. When a system fault occurs, the fault current swiftly causes the fuse to blow, initiating an arc. This arc ignites the arc tube, resulting in the decomposition of vast gas volumes, creating immense internal pressure and generating a vertical wind path that dramatically elongates the arc. Once the fuse blows, the moving contact loses tension and rotates outward, with the locking mechanism disengaging, thus allowing the fuse tube to drop, achieving a break position. Employing an insulating rod, users can pull the load, maintaining contact with the static contact. Where these standards lack detailed parameter definitions, adjustments are meticulously made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses, ensuring a product of the highest caliber.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are top-tier outdoor high-voltage protective devices, ingeniously designed to connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines. They perform the critical role of shielding transformers and lines from short circuits and overloads, while efficiently managing the on/off load current. These devices consist of insulating insulator supports along with a fuse tube, featuring static contacts fixed on both sides of the support and moving contacts at the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube is equipped with an internal arc-extinguishing tube, enclosed in an outer shell of a phenolic compound paper tube or an epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout further enhances performance with elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for optimal on-off load current switching.

Under normal operational conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains tightened in a closed position. In the event of faults, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, producing an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing substantial gas volumes and creating high pressure to elongate the arc throughout the tube. Once melted, the moving contact releases tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop, switching to an open position. For cutout load switching, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the main contact stays engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is progressively pulled, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas for efficient arc extinguishment precisely as the current passes through zero.
