The Drop-out Fuse and Pull Load Drop-out Fuse present themselves as unparalleled solutions for outdoor high-voltage electrical protection. Meticulously engineered for precision, these devices are strategically placed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as pivotal links within distribution lines. They provide essential protection against transformer and line short circuits and overloads while enabling the seamless opening and co-loading of current. An innovative design combines an insulating bracket with fuse tubes, featuring static contacts firmly attached at both ends of the bracket and dynamic moving contacts at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube's sophisticated construction includes an inner arc tube and an outer layer of phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth tube. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse is distinguished by its additional flexibility, enhanced by auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, crafted specifically for effortless current load operations.
In routine operations, the drop-out fuse is securely maintained in a closed position through the tensioned fuse tube. Upon encountering system anomalies, the fault current swiftly triggers the fuse to blow, producing an arc that activates the arc tube. This action causes the release of large gas volumes, creating high pressure within the tube, and forming a vertical wind path that remarkably stretches and prolongs the arc. When the fuse is blown, the moving contact loses tension and rotates outward, allowing the locking mechanism to disengage and the fuse tube to drop, achieving a breaking position. To facilitate load pulling, an insulating rod is utilized to pull the moving contact, ensuring consistent contact with the static contact. As the auxiliary contacts separate under persistent effort, an arc emerges between them, which is expertly stretched within the hood slit. The arc cover plays a crucial role in arc extinguishment as it contains the arc gases until the current reaches zero.

It aligns with the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses Expulsion fuses standards, ensuring robust compliance. Where standards do not provide explicit definitions for critical parameters and configurations, adjustments are adeptly made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout stand as premier outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Designed to seamlessly connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they play an indispensable role in shielding transformers and lines from short circuit events and overload conditions while adeptly managing the on/off load current. An integral design includes insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts strategically fixed on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts precisely installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube boasts an internal arc-extinguishing tube complemented by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is further enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient on-off load current switching.
Under normal operational conditions, the fuse link ensures that the fuse tube remains securely tightened to uphold a closed position. When faults arise, the fault current promptly causes the fuse to melt, generating an electric arc. This prompts the arc-extinguishing tube to heat up and release a substantial volume of gas, creating high pressure and elongating the arc throughout the tube. After the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and enabling the fuse tube to drop, transitioning to an open position. For load switching during cutout operations, operators must utilize an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the static auxiliary contact. As the auxiliary contact is further manipulated, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism efficiently dispels gas to extinguish the arc as the current passes zero.
