General
The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are essential outdoor high-voltage protective devices, expertly crafted to safeguard electrical systems. Positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or within distribution lines, these fuses offer robust protection against transformer and line short circuits and overloads, while effectively managing open-circuit load currents. Their durable construction includes an insulating bracket and robust fuse tubes; the static contact is securely anchored at each end of the insulation bracket, with the moving contact strategically placed at the fuse tube's ends. The fuse tube boasts an ingenious inner arc tube, encased by either an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Designed for superior performance, the pull load drop-out fuse features agile auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, significantly enhancing its operational flexibility, especially during the handling of open or co-load currents.

In normal operations, the drop-out fuse remains closed, maintaining the fuse tube and fuse under tension. When a fault occurs, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, creating a powerful arc. The arc's intense heat generates an outpouring of gas from the arc tube, increasing the pressure within the tube. This process initiates a vertical airflow along the pipeline, expertly stretching and elongating the arc. As the fuse blows, the moving contact loses tension, activating the locking mechanism, which releases the fuse tube and guides it into the open position. For load switching, an insulating rod is used to disengage the moving contact, initially keeping its connection with the static contact. Continued pulling with the insulating rod causes the auxiliary contacts to separate, forming and extending an arc within the hood slit. The arc cover's gas aids in extinguishing the arc as the current approaches zero.

This product, designed with innovation, is perfect for 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branch lines, and the primary sides of distribution transformers. It serves as a stalwart protector against overloads and short circuits, while adeptly handling the separation and union of rated load currents.
In line with top-tier standards, the product model conforms to the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is meticulously crafted to comply with the rigorous GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards ambiguously define essential parameters and configurations, precision adjustments are executed in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are pivotal for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they offer essential defense against short circuits and overloads, competently managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout features insulated insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely positioned on either side of the insulator support, with moving contacts resting at the ends of the fuse tube. The sophisticated design of the fuse tube includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout flaunts robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring proficient management of on-off loading currents.

Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link keeps the fuse tube securely closed. When faults arise, fault currents swiftly melt the fuse, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing copious gas. The high pressure propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, activating the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating bar to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current reaches zero.
