General
The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse serve as an indispensable outdoor high-voltage protective mechanism. Strategically installed on the high-voltage side of the distribution transformer or within the support link of the distribution line, these fuses are designed to safeguard transformers and lines against short circuits and overloads, while facilitating the smooth discharge of co-load currents. Each drop-out fuse is meticulously crafted with a robust insulating bracket and durable fuse tubes. The static contacts, securely affixed at both ends of the insulation bracket, harmonize seamlessly with the moving contacts located on each end of the fuse tube. The construction of the fuse tube itself is an engineering marvel, comprising an inner arc tube enveloped by either an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. This product not only enhances safety but also optimizes the flexibility of auxiliary contacts and arc chutes to manage open and co-load currents with precision.
During normal operation, the drop-out fuse stands poised in its closed position, maintained by the tension within the fuse tube. When a system malfunction arises, the fault current swiftly incinerates the fuse, generating an arc. This arc ignites a remarkable transformation within the arc tube, as large volumes of gas are released, creating a high-pressure environment. Consequently, a powerful vertical wind is generated along the pipeline, elongating the arc in a fraction of a second. Post-fuse detonation, the moving contact loses its tension and pivots outward, triggering the locking mechanism to release the fuse tube. Consequently, the fuse tube descends, marking the transition to the breaking position. For load operations, an insulating rod is adeptly employed to disengage the moving contact. At this juncture, the moving and static contacts remain connected. However, as the insulating rod continues its pull, the auxiliary contacts are deftly separated, and an arc emerges between them. This arc gracefully extends within the confines of the hood slit. Thanks to the gas within the arc cover, the arc extinguishes precisely as the current reaches zero.

Our product is ideally suited for integration within 10~35KV distribution line branches and as the primary safeguard for distribution transformers. It offers robust protection against overloads and short circuits, while also facilitating the seamless separation and combination of the rated load current, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in all conditions.
The product's design and model align with the rigorous standards set by JB/T8321-1996 Method of type AC high-voltage fuses. Further refinement of product parameters adheres to the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. Although these standards lack clarity on certain key parameters and configurations, our product is meticulously adjusted in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 10~35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuse interim technology requirements, ensuring unparalleled precision and safety.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are high-voltage protective devices engineered for outdoor use. Designed to interface seamlessly with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, these devices offer premier protection against short circuits and overload, while enabling smooth on/off loading of currents. Constructed with insulating insulator supports and a robust fuse tube, the static contacts are securely mounted on both sides of the insulator support. The moving contact, strategically placed at the ends of the fuse tube, is part of a sophisticated assembly that includes an inside arc-extinguishing tube and either an outer phenolic compound paper tube or an epoxy glass tube. Our load switching fuse cutout boasts enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient current on-off management with unparalleled precision.
Under normal conditions, the fuse link maintains the fuse tube in a tightly secured closed position. If a system fault arises, the resulting fault current causes an immediate fuse melt, producing an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a significant amount of gas. This reaction generates high pressure, propelling the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, the mechanism locks, and the fuse tube disengages, transitioning the cutout to its open position. During cutout loading, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is progressively separated, an electric arc forms between them, extending within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. The arc-extinguishing system releases gas to extinguish the arc precisely as the current passes zero, ensuring safety and efficiency.
