General
The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are critical outdoor high-voltage protective devices, meticulously designed to safeguard electric systems. Positioned strategically on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or embedded within distribution lines, these fuses provide robust protection against transformer and line short circuits, including overloads, while expertly managing open-circuit load currents. Their stalwart construction includes an insulating bracket paired with fuse tubes; the static contact is securely stationed on each end of the insulation bracket, with the moving contact placed at the fuse tube's tips. Ingeniously crafted, the fuse tube features an inner arc tube embraced by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Built for superior performance, the pull load drop-out fuse is outfitted with nimble auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, enhancing its operational versatility, particularly in handling open or concurrent load currents.
In standard operations, the drop-out fuse remains closed, keeping the fuse tube and fuse taut. Upon encountering a system fault, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, generating an arc. The intense heat from the arc expels gas from the arc tube, elevating the pressure within. This initiates a vertical airflow along the pipeline, skillfully extending and stretching the arc. As the fuse blows, the tension from the moving contact is relieved, activating the locking mechanism, which subsequently releases the fuse tube, guiding it into the breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is utilized to disengage the moving contact, initially maintaining its connection with the static contact. Continued pulling with the insulating rod causes the auxiliary contacts to disengage, forming and elongating an arc within the hood slit. The arc cover's gas aids in extinguishing the arc when the current drops to zero.

This product excels with an innovative design tailored for 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branch lines, and the primary sides of distribution transformers. It serves as a fortress of protection against overloads and short circuits, while deftly managing the separation and reunion of rated load currents.
Aligned with superior standards, the product model conforms to the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is carefully crafted to comply with the rigorous GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards ambiguously define critical parameters and configurations, precise adjustments are executed in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they offer essential defense against short circuits and overloads, effectively managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout consists of insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely positioned on either side of the insulator support, and moving contacts are placed at the fuse tube's ends. The sophisticated design of the fuse tube includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, encapsulated by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout features robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring adept management of on-off loading currents.
Under ordinary operating conditions, the fuse link ensures that the fuse tube remains closed securely. When faults occur, fault currents swiftly melt the fuse, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing abundant gas. This high pressure drives the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, triggering the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube drops out, shifting the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact stay engaged, but continued pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that extends within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current reaches zero.
