Acting as the frontline defense, they provide crucial protection against transformer and line short circuits and overload conditions while facilitating the seamless opening and co-loading of current. Ingeniously crafted, the drop-out fuse comprises an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with securely placed static contacts at both ends of the bracket accompanied by moving contacts at the ends of the fuse tube. The innovative construction of the fuse tube features an inner arc tube paired with an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. Exemplifying enhanced flexibility, the Pull Load Drop-out Fuse includes auxiliary contacts and an arc chute designed specifically for effortless current load operations.

In typical operations, the drop-out fuse is steadfastly held in a closed position with the fuse tube being taut. Upon the occurrence of a system fault, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, producing an arc. This arc ignites the arc tube, initiating the decomposition of large gas volumes, which in turn generate high pressure inside the tube and create a vertical wind path. This extraordinary mechanism extends and elongates the arc rapidly. Following the blowing of the fuse, the moving contact releases its tension, rotating outward as the locking mechanism disengages, allowing the fuse tube to fall to a breaking position. When load pulling is necessary, an insulating rod is utilized to draw out the moving contact, ensuring contact with the static contact. As the effort continues, the auxiliary contacts separate, forming an arc between them that stretches within the hood slit. Product parameters are in full compliance with GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses Expulsion fuses standards. In situations where standards lack detailed parameter definitions and configurations, adjustments are deftly made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout stand as premier outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Crafted to seamlessly interface with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they play a pivotal role in shielding transformers and lines from short circuit incidents and overload conditions while adeptly managing on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout comprises insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts securely affixed on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts meticulously installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube boasts an internal arc-extinguishing tube along with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is further enhanced with elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for efficient on-off load current switching.

In standard operational scenarios, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube is taut to maintain a closed position. When faults occur, the fault current instantly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc. This heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a substantial volume of gas to create high pressure and elongate the arc throughout the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, switching to an open position. For load switching during cutout, operators must skillfully use an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further pulled, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, which elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to extinguish the arc as the current passes through zero.
