They are vital in guarding against transformer and line short circuits, managing overload conditions, and facilitating seamless opening and handling of current. The drop-out fuse is skillfully engineered with an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, featuring static contacts at both ends of the bracket and moving contacts at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube is constructed with an inner arc tube paired with an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse offers remarkable adaptability with auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, specifically crafted for efficient current load operations.

In standard operations, the drop-out fuse is steadfastly maintained in a closed position with the fuse tube under tension. During system malfunctions, the fault current rapidly blows the fuse, creating an arc that ignites the arc tube. This process results in the decomposition of substantial gas volumes, forming high pressure within the tube and establishing a vertical wind path. This ingenious mechanism efficiently stretches and extends the arc. Once the fuse has blown, the moving contact releases tension and elegantly rotates outward, while the locking mechanism disengages, permitting the fuse tube to drop, achieving a break position. The meticulous design of this product strictly adheres to the JB/T8321-1996 Method for AC high-voltage fuse preparation, with product parameters meeting the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses Expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards do not define critical parameters and configurations, adjustments are meticulously made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are premier outdoor high-voltage protective devices, designed to connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines. They are essential in safeguarding transformers and lines from short circuit incidents and overload conditions, while effectively managing the on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout features insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts securely fixed on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube includes an internal arc-extinguishing tube paired with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for proficient on-off load current switching.

In typical operational scenarios, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube is firmly tightened to maintain a closed position. Upon encountering faults, the fault current instantaneously melts the fuse, generating a powerful electric arc. This causes the arc-extinguishing tube to heat up and release a considerable amount of gas, creating high pressure that elongates the arc within the tube. After the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning to an open position. For load switching during cutout, operators must utilize an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further disengaged, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to extinguish the arc as the current approaches zero.
