General
This (H)GW9 outdoor high voltage switch equipment of single phase AC 50Hz.The product is suitable for power systems with a rated voltage of 10kV to make or break power supply under circumstances of voltage and no load. The isolator adopts an isolated hook rod to operate.
Service conditions
1. The altitude does not exceed 1000m.
2. The ambient air temperature: Maximum:+40ºC; Minimum:-30ºC, Paramos:-40ºC
3. The wind pressure does not exceed 700Pa. (corresponding to 34m/s wind speed).
4. The earthquake intensity does not exceed 8 degrees.
5. The working situation hasn't frequent violent vibration.
6. The installation site of an ordinary type isolator should be kept away from gas, smoke chemical deposition,salt-spray fog, dust, and other explosive and corrosive matters that affect seriously the insulation and conduction capability of the isolator.
7. Pollution-proof type isolator is applied to severe filthy conduction area; however, it shouldn't be any explosive matters and matters causing a fire.
Scope
Type IST off-load switchs are suitable for use in tropical zone, with a maximum ambient temperature of approximately 40 degrees Centigrade and an average temperature of approximately 28 degrees Centigrade with high humidity and heavy rainfall. The preferred operational altitude is up to 1800 m above sea level.
Electrical System
Type IST off-load isolator switch are designed for continuous operation on a 3-phase 3-wire 11, 15,22,24,27and 33,36kV,50/60Hz distribution system with the star-point of the source-point transformer earthed through an Arc Suppression Coil or Earthing Resistor.
