The Drop-out Fuse and Pull Load Drop-out Fuse represent the pinnacle of outdoor high-voltage electrical protection solutions. These devices are expertly positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as indispensable links in distribution lines. Engineered to protect against transformer and line short circuits and overloads, they also facilitate the smooth opening and closing of current loads. The drop-out fuse showcases an intelligent design featuring an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with static contacts secured at both ends of the bracket and moving contacts at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube's construction includes an internal arc tube along with an exterior made from either phenolic paper tubes or epoxy glass cloth tubes. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse is equipped with superior flexibility, featuring auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, precisely crafted for flawless current load operations.

In standard operation, the drop-out fuse remains firmly closed with the fuse tube under tension. Should a system anomaly arise, the fault current blows the fuse, generating an arc that activates the arc tube, leading to the decomposition of large gas volumes. This creates high pressure inside the tube, forming a vertical wind path that significantly stretches and elongates the arc. After the fuse blows, the moving contact releases tension and rotates outward, while the locking mechanism disengages, allowing the fuse tube to drop and break the circuit. When load pulling is necessary, an insulating rod is used to pull the moving contact, maintaining its connection with the static contact. As the auxiliary contacts are pulled apart, an arc forms, stretching within the hood slit. The arc cover aids in arc extinguishment by containing gas, enabling the current to reach zero effortlessly.

The product parameters are thoroughly aligned with GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses Expulsion fuses standards. Where the standards lack thorough definitions, adjustments are deftly made in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are the ultimate outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Intended to connect with the incoming feeders of distribution transformers or lines, they are vital in shielding transformers and lines from short circuits and overloads while mastering the on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout comprises insulating supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts firmly fixed on both sides and moving contacts at the tube ends. The internal arc-extinguishing tube is complemented by an outer layer made from phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout integrates elastic auxiliary contacts and an advanced arc-extinguishing enclosure for effective current switching.

Under usual operational conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains tight, securing a closed position. Upon fault occurrence, the fault current quickly melts the fuse, initiating an electric arc. This heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing substantial gas volumes, creating high pressure, and elongating the arc throughout the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, the mechanism locks, and the fuse tube drops, switching to an open position. For load switching during cutout, an insulating operating bar is utilized to pull the moving contact, initially keeping the main contact engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further engaged, an electric arc forms and stretches within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas, efficiently extinguishing the arc as the current reaches zero.
