General
The Drop-out Fuse and Load Drop-out Fuse serve as outdoor high-voltage protective measures for electrical systems. Strategically installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as a crucial link in distribution lines, these fuses provide essential short circuit and overload protection, managing both the interruption and continuation of load currents. Engineered with an insulating bracket and innovative fuse tubes, each component plays a pivotal role: the static contacts are securely placed at either end of the bracket, while the moving contacts are meticulously positioned at both ends of the fuse tube, a sophisticated assembly comprising an inner arc tube and a robust outer shell of phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse is enhanced by flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, elevating its capability to manage co-load currents with precision and reliability.
In standard operation, the Drop-out Fuse maintains a closed position through the tension exerted on the fuse tube. Upon encountering a system fault, the prompt response of the blown fuse initiates an arc, with the arc tube activating under the intense heat, resulting in the swift release of significant gas quantities. This creates a high-pressure environment within the tube, propelling a vertical wind effect along the arc channel. As the fuse blows, the moving contact is freed from tension, triggering the release of the locking mechanism. The fuse tube subsequently descends, finalizing the break position. During load operations, an insulating rod is employed to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the static and moving contacts remain connected. As the rod continues to pull, the auxiliary contacts disengage, producing an arc within the hood slit. This arc resides in a gas-rich environment, ensuring efficient extinguishing when the current reaches zero.

The product model aligns with the JB/T8321-1996 Method of Type AC High-Voltage Fuses. Adhering to GB15166.3-1994 standards for high-voltage expulsion fuses, our product is crafted with precision. While standards may lack explicit definitions of certain parameters and configurations, we ensure compliance through rigorous adherence to the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technical requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses, ensuring top-tier performance and safety.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are meticulously engineered for outdoor high-voltage protection, effectively safeguarding distribution transformers or lines from short circuits and overloads, while also facilitating load switching. Comprising insulator supports and a sophisticated fuse tube, the static contacts are strategically fixed on the insulator support, with moving contacts affixed to the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube integrates an arc-extinguishing component, with an exterior of phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass, ensuring durability. The Load Switching Fuse Cutout features reinforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an advanced arc-extinguishing enclosure, expertly managing on-off loading currents with enhanced reliability.
Under normal conditions, the fuse link maintains a secure connection, positioning the fuse tube in a closed state. Should a fault arise, the immediate melting of the fuse link generates an electric arc, causing the arc-extinguishing tube to heat and expel significant gas volumes. This creates high pressure that propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop, indicating an open position. During load switching, operators use an insulating operating bar to maneuver the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged. As the auxiliary contact disengages, an electric arc forms, extending within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. The arc is efficiently extinguished as the enclosure releases gas when the current reaches zero, ensuring safe and effective operation.
