General
The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are pivotal guardians of outdoor high-voltage electric systems. Expertly designed for placement on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or within distribution lines, they offer robust protection against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overloads, all while managing open-circuit load currents with exceptional precision. Their construction boasts an insulating bracket and fuse tubes; static contacts are firmly positioned at each end of the insulation bracket, with moving contacts at the fuse tube's extremities. Ingeniously engineered, the fuse tube features an inner arc tube enveloped by a phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. The pull load drop-out fuse is crafted for operational excellence, boasting agile auxiliary contacts and an arc chute that enhance operational flexibility, particularly for handling open or co-load currents.

During routine operations, the drop-out fuse remains closed, keeping the fuse tube and fuse securely in place. Upon system fault occurrence, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, generating an arc. The arc's intense heat causes a surge of gas from the arc tube, elevating its internal pressure. This action initiates a vertical airflow through the pipeline, effectively stretching and elongating the arc. As the fuse blows, the moving contact's tension is released, triggering the locking mechanism that releases the fuse tube, guiding it to a breaking position. For load release, an insulating rod is used to disengage the moving contact, initially keeping its connection with the static contact. Continuous pulling with the rod allows the auxiliary contacts to detach, forming and lengthening an arc within the hood slit. The arc cover's gas plays a crucial role in extinguishing the arc as the current subsides to zero.

This product's ingenious design makes it perfect for 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branching lines, and the main sides of distribution transformers. It serves as a steadfast protector against overloads and short circuits, while masterfully managing the connection and disconnection of rated load currents.
Aligned with exemplary standards, this product model conforms to the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is meticulously crafted to satisfy the stringent GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards obscure critical parameters and configurations, precision adjustments are executed per JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable for outdoor high voltage protection. Strategically integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they provide essential defense against short circuits and overloads while efficiently managing on/off load currents. The drop-out fuse cutout features insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely positioned on either side of the support, with moving contacts at the fuse tube's ends. The fuse tube’s complex design includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is equipped with robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring proficient on-off load current management.

Under standard conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains securely closed. When faults occur, fault currents promptly melt the fuse, generating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing abundant gas. This high pressure propels the arc along the tube. Upon fuse link melting, the moving contact loses tension, activating the lock mechanism, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. For switch-off during loading, operators use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, creating an electric arc that elongates in the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring arc extinction as the current reaches zero.
