The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse distinguishes itself with exceptional flexibility, incorporating auxiliary contacts and an arc chute meticulously designed for flawless current load operations.

During standard operations, the drop-out fuse is steadfastly locked in a closed stance, with the fuse tube expertly tensioned. Upon fault detection, the fault current acts promptly, blowing the fuse and forming an arc. This aggressive arc ignites the arc tube, breaking down substantial gas volumes and creating immense pressure within the tube to forge a vertical wind path that skillfully extends the arc. The drop-out fuse cutout consists of robust insulating supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts securely fixed on both ends and moving contacts precisely affixed at the tube's ends. The fuse tube showcases an advanced internal arc-extinguishing tube, paired with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. Additionally, the load switching fuse cutout encompasses enhanced, elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for proficient on-off load current switching.

In typical operational settings, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains firmly closed. Upon encountering malfunctions, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing substantial gas volumes and generating high pressure to extend the arc within the tube. Following the melting, the moving contact loses tension, enabling the mechanism to unlock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning to an open position. For cutout load switching, operators employ an insulating operating bar to extract the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further extracted, an electric arc forms between them, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism ejects gas to efficiently extinguish the arc as the current approaches zero.
