With a construction comprising an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, the static contact is securely attached to both ends of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact is strategically positioned on the fuse tube ends. The intricately designed fuse tube features an inner arc tube cloaked by a resilient outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. The pull load drop-out fuse is adeptly equipped with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, enhancing its operational flexibility when engaging in open or co-load currents.

During standard operations, the drop-out fuse resides in a steadfast closed position, with the fuse tube and fuse under optimal tension. Upon encountering system failures, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, initiating an arc. The arc tube, exposed to the intense heat, releases copious amounts of gas, generating high pressure within. This results in a vertical airflow, efficiently stretching and extending the arc along the pipeline. Once the fuse is blown, the moving contact loses tension, activating the locking mechanism, releasing the fuse tube, and allowing it to drop into a definitive breaking position. To facilitate load pulling, an insulating rod is employed to disengage the moving contact. Initially, it maintains contact with the static contact. Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are pivotal outdoor high-voltage protective devices, seamlessly integrated with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines. They provide indispensable protection against short circuits and overloads, while adeptly managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout consists of insulate insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts securely positioned on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts installed at the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube's architecture includes an inner arc-extinguishing tube, elegantly enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is designed with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, skillfully managing on-off loading current, ensuring your power systems remain safe and efficient.

Upon the melting of the fuse link, the moving contact loses its tension, the mechanism locks, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open position. To seamlessly switch off during cutout loading, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to adeptly pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an elongating electric arc within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, effectively extinguishing the arc as the current passes zero, ensuring smooth and safe operation.
