The Drop-out Fuse and Pull Load Drop-out Fuse represent the pinnacle of outdoor high-voltage electrical protection solutions. Positioned strategically, these devices can be found on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or serving as essential support links within distribution lines. They act as vital defenders against transformer and line short circuits, overload scenarios, and they efficiently facilitate the opening and co-loading of current. Ingeniously crafted, the drop-out fuse features an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with static contacts firmly secured at both ends of the bracket and dynamic contacts at the ends of the fuse tube. The construction of the fuse tube is a marvel of engineering, boasting an inner arc tube coupled with an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. Meanwhile, the Pull Load Drop-out Fuse offers enhanced adaptability with auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, specifically designed to streamline current load operations seamlessly.

During typical operations, the drop-out fuse is held securely in a closed position, with the fuse tube tensioned to perfection. In the event of a system malfunction, the fault current acts swiftly to blow the fuse, producing an arc. This arc ignites the arc tube, resulting in the decomposition of vast gas volumes that create high pressure inside the tube, generating a vertical wind path. This extraordinary mechanism effectively stretches and elongates the arc. Once the fuse has blown, the moving contact releases its tension, rotating outward, while the locking mechanism disengages, allowing the fuse tube to drop into a breaking position. Crafted with precision, this product adheres to the JB/T8321-1996 Method for AC high-voltage fuse preparation, with product parameters that conform to GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses Expulsion fuses standards. In areas where detailed definitions of critical parameters and configurations are absent, adjustments are made in adherence to the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are the epitome of outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Specifically designed to connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, these devices play an instrumental role in safeguarding transformers and lines from short circuit incidents and overload conditions while efficiently managing the on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout is composed of insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, featuring static contacts fixed on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube, a marvel of design, includes an internal arc-extinguishing tube surrounded by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout further includes enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for superb on-off load current switching.

In normal operational scenarios, the fuse link ensures that the fuse tube is tightened, maintaining a secure closed position. When faults arise, the fault current causes immediate melting of the fuse, generating an electric arc. This arc prompts the arc-extinguishing tube to heat up, releasing a substantial volume of gas and creating high pressure that elongates the arc throughout the tube. After the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, allowing the mechanism to unlock, and the fuse tube to drop into an open position. For load switching during cutout, operators use an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is pulled further, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to extinguish the arc as the current passes through zero.
