The Drop-out Fuse and Pull Load Drop-out Fuse stand as quintessential outdoor high-voltage electrical protection solutions. Strategically placed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or integrated into distribution lines, these devices are the frontline defense against transformer and line short circuits, and overload scenarios. They adeptly manage the opening and co-loading of current. Ingeniously crafted, each drop-out fuse comprises an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with static contacts affixed at the bracket's ends and moving contacts on the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube's inner arc tube is complemented by an outer phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth tube. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse offers heightened adaptability with auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, meticulously engineered for seamless current load operations.

In regular operations, the drop-out fuse remains securely closed, with a tensioned fuse tube. However, when a system malfunction occurs, the fault current instantly blows the fuse, creating an arc. This arc ignites the arc tube, resulting in the decomposition of vast gas volumes that generate high pressure inside the tube and form a powerful vertical wind path. This sophisticated mechanism promptly stretches and elongates the arc. Following the fuse blowing, the moving contact releases tension and rotates outward, while the locking mechanism disengages, allowing the fuse tube to drop, achieving a breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is utilized to draw the moving contact, maintaining its connection with the static contact. Continued effort causes the auxiliary contacts to separate, creating an arc between them, stretched within the hood slit. The arc cover supports arc extinguishment by containing the gas, bringing the current to zero.

This distinguished product is tailored for deployment in 10 to 35KV distribution lines, including branching lines and on the primary side of distribution transformers. It provides robust protection against overloads and short circuits while ensuring efficient separation and combination of the rated load current.
The meticulous design of this product adheres to the JB/T8321-1996 Method for AC high-voltage fuse preparation, and the product parameters conform to GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses Expulsion fuses standards. Where standards lack detailed definitions of crucial parameters and configurations, adjustments are made following the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout represent the pinnacle of outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Designed to connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they are instrumental in protecting transformers and lines from short circuit incidents and overload conditions while managing the on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout features insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts secured on both insulator support sides and moving contacts installed at the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube incorporates an internal arc-extinguishing tube, complemented by an outer phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout includes enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for efficient on-off load current switching.

Under normal operational circumstances, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains tensioned for a closed position. In the event of a fault, the fault current causes the fuse to melt immediately, generating an electric arc. This process heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing significant gas volumes, which create high pressure and elongate the arc within the tube. After melting, the moving contact loses tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning to an open position. For load switching during cutout, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the main contact stays engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further pulled, an electric arc forms between the auxiliary contacts, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to extinguish the arc as the current passes through zero.
