The resultant high pressure within the tube skillfully crafts a vertical wind path that elongates the arc with finesse. Inside, a sophisticated arc-extinguishing tube is complemented by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. Meanwhile, the load switching fuse cutout is further enhanced with high-performance, elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for efficient on/off load current switching.
During typical operational scenarios, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains securely shut. Upon encountering faults, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube. This action liberates vast volumes of gas, creating high pressure that elongates the arc within the tube. Once the fuse melts, the moving contact loses its tension, allowing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to gracefully drop out, transitioning to an open position. For cutout load switching, operators deftly use an insulating operating bar to draw the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further pulled, an electric arc forms between them, extending within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to efficiently extinguish the arc as the current passes through zero.
