The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are paramount outdoor high-voltage protective devices, meticulously designed to be the steadfast sentinels of electrical systems. Strategically placed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or within distribution lines, these fuses offer robust defense against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overloads, while skillfully managing open-circuit load currents. Constructed with precision, they feature a durable insulating bracket and fuse tubes; the static contact is reliably secured on each end of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact is placed at the fuse tube's extremities. Ingeniously configured, the fuse tube comprises an inner arc tube encased by either an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Engineered for operational proficiency, the pull load drop-out fuse is equipped with agile auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, enhancing its operational versatility, especially when managing open or co-load currents.

In standard operations, the drop-out fuse remains securely closed, keeping the fuse tube and fuse taut. When a system fault occurs, the fault current quickly melts the fuse, generating an arc. The arc's intense heat expels gas from the arc tube, increasing the pressure inside. This elevates a vertical airflow along the pipeline, stretching and elongating the arc. As the fuse blows, the moving contact loses tension, activating the locking mechanism, which releases the fuse tube into the breaking position. During load pulling, an insulating rod is used to disengage the moving contact while initially maintaining its link with the static contact. Continued pulling with the insulating rod causes the auxiliary contacts to release, forming and lengthening an arc within the hood slit. The gas from the arc cover facilitates the arc's extinction when the current returns to zero.

Conforming to exemplary standards, the product model aligns with JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is expertly crafted to meet the rigorous GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. Where standards ambiguously define critical parameters and configurations, precision adjustments are made in line with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are crucial for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they provide essential defense against short circuits and overloads, efficiently managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout includes insulate insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely positioned on either side of the insulator support, and moving contacts rest at the ends of the fuse tube. The intricate design of the fuse tube comprises an inner arc-extinguishing tube, surrounded by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout features resilient elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient management of on-off loading currents.

Under normal operating conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains securely closed. When faults occur, fault currents rapidly melt the fuse, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing abundant gas. This high pressure propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, triggering the locking mechanism, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. For cutout loading, operators utilize an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling detaches the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current reaches zero.
