General
The drop-out fuse and pull-load drop-out fuse are critical outdoor high-voltage protective devices, expertly designed to shield electrical systems. These are strategically placed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or integrated into distribution lines, ensuring robust protection against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overloads. They also facilitate open-circuit load currents. The sophisticated construction includes an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, with static contacts firmly established at both ends of the insulation bracket and moving contacts affixed to the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube, a marvel of engineering, consists of an inner arc tube cleverly encased by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. The pull-load drop-out fuse is further enhanced with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, significantly refining operational efficiency, especially when opening or co-load currents are involved.

In typical operation, the drop-out fuse remains steadfastly closed, keeping the fuse tube and fuse under uniform tension. When a system issue arises, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, sparking an arc. The arc tube, subjected to the arc's intense heat, unleashes a torrent of gas, raising the pressure inside the tube and causing a vertical wind through the pipeline that expertly stretches and elongates the arc. Once the fuse blows, the moving contact loses its tension, triggering a precise locking mechanism that releases the fuse tube into a breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is skillfully used to disengage the moving contact, which initially remains in contact with the static contact. Persistent pulling with the insulating rod separates the auxiliary contacts, with an arc forming and elegantly elongating within the hood slit. The gas inside the arc cover expertly facilitates arc extinguishment once the current reaches zero.

This product is masterfully crafted for use in 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branching lines, and the primary side of distribution transformers. It delivers outstanding protection against overloads and short circuits while skillfully managing the separation and combination of rated load currents.
The product model strictly adheres to the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is meticulously engineered to comply with the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards ambiguously define key parameters and configurations, adjustments are made precisely in line with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are essential high voltage protective devices designed for outdoor use. They are seamlessly integrated at the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, providing unmatched protection against short circuits and overloads, while adeptly managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout is composed of insulate insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts reliably secured on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts expertly mounted at the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube's architecture is ingeniously designed with an inner arc-extinguishing tube enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout features robust elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, skillfully managing on-off loading current.

Under normal operational conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube is staunchly secured in a closed position. Upon the occurrence of system faults, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube which then releases a significant amount of gas, generating high pressure that expertly propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, causing the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to a fully open position. To switch off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating operating bar to proficiently pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling seamlessly disengages the auxiliary contacts, creating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas to effectively extinguish the arc as the current reaches zero.
