This essential device is strategically mounted on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or distribution lines, where it serves a dual purpose: safeguarding against transformers and line short circuits, as well as overload conditions. It seamlessly manages the co-load current and ensures reliable operational integrity. Its construction includes a durable insulating bracket and a robust fuse tube, with static contacts affixed to the bracket's ends. Moving contacts are ingeniously installed on the fuse tube's extremities. The inner arc tube, complemented by an outer layer crafted from phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth, forms the fuse tube. The load drop-out fuse is further enhanced with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, elevating its capability to manage both open and co-load currents.

During standard operation, the fuse tube is held securely in a closed position by the tension of the fuse link. When the system encounters a fault, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, initiating an arc. The electric arc's energy causes the arc tube to decompose and release significant gas volumes, culminating in elevated internal pressure. This pressure, coupled with vertical airflow, elongates and rapidly extinguishes the arc. Upon fuse rupture, the moving contact loses its tension, triggering the locking mechanism to release the fuse tube, allowing it to pivot downwards into a breaking position. For load switching, an insulating rod disconnects the moving contact, while maintaining contact with the static contact. Continued force with the rod separates the auxiliary contacts, creating an arc between them. This arc is strategically stretched within the hood slit, where the arc cover's gas ensures its extinction as the current approaches zero.

The product adheres to the JB/T8321-1996 standards for AC high-voltage fuses, with its parameters crafted in accordance with GB15166.3-1994 high voltage expulsion fuse standards. In instances where pivotal parameters and configurations lack explicit definition, modifications are made based on the JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses, ensuring technical precision and reliability.
Our drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are quintessential outdoor high voltage protective devices, seamlessly connecting with incoming feeders of distribution transformers or lines. These devices specialize in shielding transformers or lines from short circuits and overloads while efficiently managing on/off loading currents. Constructed with insulating supports and a durable fuse tube, the static contacts are rigidly affixed to the insulator support's sides, while the moving contact is stationed at the fuse tube's extremities. The fuse tube combines an inner arc-extinguishing tube with an outer phenolic compound or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is equipped with advanced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, enhancing its loading current management capabilities.

In day-to-day operations, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains tightly in a closed position. Fault conditions initiate immediate fuse melting, creating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing copious gas and generating high pressure beneath the arc. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, engaging the locking mechanism to drop the fuse tube, transitioning the cutout to an open position. For load switching during a cutout, the operator employs an insulating operating bar to maneuver the moving contact. Initially, main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged, but as the auxiliary contact is separated, an electric arc forms. This arc is strategically extended within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap, where gas expulsion effectively extinguishes the arc as the current nears zero.
