The drop-out fuse, along with the pull-load drop-out fuse, represents an essential outdoor high-voltage protector. Strategically installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or at pivotal points of distribution lines, it acts as a guardian against transformers and line short circuits, overloads, and enables current switching operations. Constructed from a robust insulating bracket and durable fuse tubes, the static contact is neatly positioned at both ends of the insulation bracket, while moving contacts are secured at the ends of the fuse tube. The composition of the fuse tube is a blend of an inner arc tube and an outer shell of phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth, ensuring resilience and longevity. The pull load drop-out fuse is ingeniously designed with auxiliary contacts and an arc chute to enhance flexibility, seamlessly managing open and close load currents.

In standard operation, the drop-out fuse maintains a secure closed position, held by the tension of the fuse tube. Upon system failures, the fault current expedites fuse blowing, sparking an arc. The heat from the arc ignites the arc tube, releasing copious gas amounts under high pressure within the tube, creating a powerful vertical airflow. This phenomenon gracefully stretches and extends the arc. Once the fuse blows, the moving contact loses its tension, causing the locking mechanism to release the fuse tube, which then drops to form a breaking position. During load pulling, an insulating rod is employed to maneuver the moving contact. Initially, the moving and static contacts are in contact, but continued pulling with the rod separates the auxiliary contacts. An arc forms between these auxiliary contacts, stretching within the hood slit. With the arc cover containing the gas, the arc extinguishes promptly when the current hits zero.

This product is adeptly utilized in 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branching lines, and on the primary side of distribution transformers, offering impeccable protection against overloads and short circuits. It skillfully manages the separation and combination of the rated load current, ensuring efficiency and safety.
Adhering to the highest standards, the product model is crafted following the JB/T8321-1996 Method of type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. Conforming to GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses Expulsion fuses standards, the product ensures reliability and durability. For parameters and configurations not explicitly defined, adjustments are made according to JB/DQ2139-1986 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuse interim technology requirements, ensuring precision and compliance.
The drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are premium outdoor high voltage protective devices. They are expertly designed to connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, safeguarding them from short circuits, overloads, and enabling smooth on/off loading of current. The refined structure consists of insulated support and a robust fuse tube. Static contacts are securely fixed on both sides of the insulator support, with moving contacts strategically installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube is a complex of an inside arc-extinguishing tube enveloped by an outer shell of phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. The load switching fuse cutout comes equipped with reinforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, facilitating efficient on-off load current switching.

During normal operations, the fuse link maintains the fuse tube in a secure closed position. Should a system fault arise, the fault current causes the fuse to melt instantly, generating an electric arc. This action heats the arc-extinguishing tube, causing a rapid release of gas, creating high pressure and directing the arc along the tube. Post fuse melting, the moving contact loses its tension, locking the mechanism and prompting the fuse tube to drop, thus shifting to an open position. For switching off during load cutout, operators employ an insulating operating bar to manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary static contacts remain in contact. As the auxiliary contact is pulled, an electric arc forms between them, stretching within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Meanwhile, the expulsion of gas from the arc-extinguishing enclosure efficiently extinguishes the arc as the current reaches zero.
