They function as essential guardians, shielding transformers and lines from short circuits and overload scenarios while enabling seamless current management. The drop-out fuse is a marvel of engineering, composed of a robust insulating bracket and durable fuse tubes, with static contacts firmly secured at both ends of the bracket and moving contacts precisely attached to the fuse tube's ends. The fuse tube itself features an inner arc tube, expertly paired with an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube, ensuring optimal performance. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse is crafted with enhanced versatility, incorporating auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, meticulously designed to facilitate effortless load current operations.

During normal operations, the drop-out fuse maintains a secure closed position, with the fuse tube tensioned for optimal readiness. In the event of a system fault, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, creating an arc that ignites the arc tube. This ignition triggers the decomposition of large gas volumes, generating high internal pressure and forming a vertical wind path, which effectively stretches and elongates the arc. After the fuse melts, the moving contact releases its tension and rotates outward, disengaging the locking mechanism, and allowing the fuse tube to drop, transitioning into a breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is used to maneuver the moving contact while maintaining its connection with the static contact. The drop-out fuse cutout consists of insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts securely positioned on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube features an internal arc-extinguishing tube, coupled with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube, ensuring reliability. The load switching fuse cutout is equipped with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, designed for efficient on-off load current switching operations.
