The Drop-out Fuse and Pull Load Drop-out Fuse serve as robust outdoor high-voltage protection solutions for electrical systems. Strategically placed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or at key junctures of distribution lines, they offer reliable short circuit and overload protection. These essential components facilitate the seamless opening and closing of co-load current circuits. Each fuse is crafted with precision, featuring an insulating bracket and durable fuse tubes. Static contacts are secured at each end of the insulation bracket, while moving contacts are expertly integrated at both ends of the fuse tube. The sophisticated design includes an inner arc tube and an outer layer composed of phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth tubes. The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse is ingeniously designed with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, enhancing its ability to manage co-load current efficiently.

In normal operation, the drop-out fuse remains in a closed position, held by the tension of the fuse tube. Upon system failure, the fault current swiftly blows the fuse, creating an arc that ignites the arc tube. This process generates a significant amount of gas, creating high pressure within the tube and producing a vertical wind along the pipeline, effectively stretching and elongating the arc. Once the fuse is blown, the moving contact loses tension, triggering the locking mechanism to release the fuse tube, which then drops, creating a breaking position. For load switching, an insulating rod is employed to pull the moving contact. Initially, the moving and static contacts remain connected. With continued pulling, the auxiliary contacts separate, causing an arc to form between them. This arc is stretched along the slit in the arc cover, which contains gas to extinguish the arc when the current reaches zero.

Product parameters adhere to the esteemed GB15166.3-1994 standards for high voltage expulsion fuses. While these standards do not explicitly define certain crucial parameters and configurations, we ensure compliance through adjustments as per JB/DQ2139-1986 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuse interim technology requirements.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are designed as outdoor high voltage protective devices. These components are vital connections to the incoming feeders of distribution transformers or distribution lines. They are primarily tasked with safeguarding transformers and lines against short circuits and overloads while facilitating the on/off loading of current. Each Drop-out Fuse Cutout features robust insulator supports and a sturdy fuse tube. Static contacts are secured on either side of the insulator support, with moving contacts skillfully installed at each end of the fuse tube. Under normal operating conditions, the fuse link maintains the fuse tube in a secure close position. In the event of system faults, the fault current causes the fuse to melt instantaneously, generating an electric arc. This arc heats the arc-extinguishing tube, leading to the release of substantial gas, which in turn creates high pressure and facilitates the expulsion of the arc through the tube. After the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, causing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning the cutout to an open position. During load switching with the cutout, the operator uses an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged. As the auxiliary contact is pulled apart, an electric arc forms between them. This arc is elongated within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap, where the arc-extinguishing gas is released to extinguish the arc as the current approaches zero.
