Structure
High voltage switchgear: Typically comprises a busbar room, circuit breaker room, secondary control room (instrument room), and feeder room, all meticulously segregated by steel partitions. Taking the KYN28A-12 model as an example, the instrument room is strategically positioned at the top, the circuit breaker room takes center stage, and the cable room is situated at the base.
Low voltage switchgear: Distinguished into fixed and drawer types based on component installation methods. The drawer type switchgear boasts a fixed cabinet structure complemented by a dynamic movable device component.
Internal Components
Composed of critical elements including circuit breakers, isolating switches, load switches, operational mechanisms, transformers, and an array of protective devices, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Classification
Based on the circuit breaker's installation, it is categorized into movable and fixed types; by cabinet structure, into open, metal enclosed, and metal enclosed armored types. High-voltage switchgear operates above AC1000V, while low-voltage operates below AC1000V. It is further classified into AC and DC switchgear by voltage waveform, and by purpose into diverse functions such as incoming cabinets, outgoing cabinets, metering cabinets, and compensation cabinets.
