The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are premier outdoor high-voltage protective solutions for electrical systems. Strategically positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as vital links in distribution lines, they ensure robust protection against short circuits and overloads, while facilitating seamless opening and closing of co-load currents. Comprising a durable insulating bracket and fuse tubes, these fuses are engineered with static contacts at each end of the insulation bracket and moving contacts at both ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself is a sophisticated construct of an inner arc tube paired with an outer layer made from either phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth. The pull load drop-out fuse is enhanced with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, optimizing its performance in managing co-load currents.

In standard operations, the fuse tube of the drop-out fuse is securely closed under the tension of the fuse. When a fault occurs, the fault current swiftly triggers the fuse to blow, creating an arc. The arc's intense heat causes the arc tube to decompose and release large volumes of gas, creating high pressure within the tube and generating a powerful vertical wind along the pipeline. This mechanism stretches and elongates the arc to extinguish it rapidly. After blowing the fuse, the moving contact loses tension and rotates outward, unlocking the mechanism and releasing the fuse tube, which then drops into the breaking position. When manually pulling the load, an insulating rod is used to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the moving and static contacts remain connected. Continued pulling separates the auxiliary contacts, an arc forms between them, and stretches within the arc cover slit. The gas-filled arc cover extinguishes the arc as the current reaches zero.

This innovative product is expertly designed for use in 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines and branching lines, as well as on the primary side of distribution transformers, offering unmatched overload and short circuit protection. It is adept at safely separating and combining rated load currents, ensuring the integrity and reliability of your power distribution system.
The product is meticulously crafted according to the JB/T8321-1996 method for AC high-voltage fuses, with product parameters aligned with the GB15166.3-1994 expulsion fuses standards. While these standards do not define certain critical parameters and configurations, adjustments are made in compliance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses, reflecting the latest in technological advancements.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable outdoor high-voltage protective devices. They connect seamlessly with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines. These devices are crucial for protecting transformers or lines from short circuits and overloads while efficiently managing on/off loading currents. Each drop-out fuse cutout is composed of resilient insulator supports and a robust fuse tube, static contacts securely fixed on both sides of the insulator support, and moving contacts installed on the fuse tube's ends. The fuse tube boasts an innovative design with an interior arc-extinguishing tube and an exterior layer of phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is further enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring reliable on-off loading current management.

Under normal operation, the fuse link tightens the fuse tube into a secure closed position. Upon system faults, the ensuing fault current melts the fuse link, igniting an electric arc. This causes the arc-extinguishing tube to heat up and release copious amounts of gas, generating high pressure and creating airflow along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, locking the mechanism and causing the fuse tube to drop, resulting in an open position. When it is necessary to switch off during cutout loading, an operator uses an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain connected. As pulling continues, the auxiliary contact separates, an electric arc forms between auxiliary contacts, and elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing process releases gas to extinguish the arc as the current reaches zero.
