General
The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are sophisticated outdoor high-voltage protection devices, crucial for safeguarding your electrical systems. Primarily deployed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as integral components within distribution lines, these fuses provide unparalleled protection against transformer and line short circuits, as well as overloads, while facilitating open-circuit load currents. Crafted with precision, the assembly features an insulating bracket and robust fuse tubes. The static contact is securely attached to both ends of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact is expertly positioned on the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself is meticulously engineered from an inner arc tube, encapsulated by an outer phenolic paper tube or a durable epoxy glass cloth tube. Equipped with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, the pull load drop-out fuse enhances operational flexibility, making it optimal for situations involving opening or co-load currents.

During standard operations, the drop-out fuse remains confidently closed, with the fuse tube and fuse under a state of tension. In the event of a system failure, the fault current instantly melts the fuse, creating an arc. The arc tube, subjected to the arc's intense heat, releases copious amounts of gas, generating substantial pressure within the tube. This results in a forceful vertical wind along the path, effectively elongating the arc. Upon fuse rupture, the moving contact loses its tension, activating the locking mechanism, which releases the fuse tube and transitions it to the breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is utilized to disengage the moving contact, initially maintaining connection with the static contact. Continued pulling with the insulating rod skillfully separates the auxiliary contacts, forming and extending an arc within the hood slit. The gas within the arc cover expedites the extinguishing process as the current reaches zero.

The product model rigorously follows the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It is engineered to meet the stringent requirements of the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In cases where standards are ambiguously defined, corrections are meticulously aligned with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology, ensuring precision and compliance.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable outdoor high voltage protective devices. Seamlessly integrated with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they provide essential protection against short circuits and overloads while efficiently managing on and off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout comprises durable insulate insulator supports and a well-constructed fuse tube. Static contacts are securely fastened on both sides of the insulator support, while moving contacts are expertly installed at the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube's architecture includes a proficient inner arc-extinguishing tube encompassed by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is designed with reinforced elastic auxiliary contacts and a state-of-the-art arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring adept management of on-off loading currents.

Under normal operating conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains securely closed. When system faults occur, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, producing an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing substantial gas to create high pressure and blow the arc along the tube. Upon fuse link melting, the moving contact loses tension, the mechanism locks, and the fuse tube drops out, shifting the cutout to an open position. To switch off during cutout loading, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact stay engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism efficiently releases gas to extinguish the arc as the current zeroes, ensuring safety and continuity.
