Structure
High voltage switchgear boasts a meticulously engineered structure featuring distinct compartments such as the busbar room, circuit breaker room, secondary control room (also known as the instrument room), and feeder room. For example, in the KYN28A-12 model, the instrument room is strategically placed at the top, the circuit breaker room occupies a central position, and the cable room is conveniently situated at the bottom.
Low voltage switchgear is ingeniously categorized based on component installation methods into fixed and drawer types. The drawer type switchgear features a durable fixed cabinet body paired with a versatile movable device section, providing enhanced flexibility and functionality.

Classification
Switchgear is classified by the circuit breaker's installation method into movable and fixed types. Cabinet structures are further categorized as open, metal enclosed, or metal enclosed armored. Voltage levels classify them as high-voltage (above AC1000V) or low-voltage (below AC1000V), while voltage waveform divides them into AC and DC types. Additionally, they are designed to fulfill specific functions as incoming cabinets, outgoing cabinets, metering cabinets, compensation cabinets, among others.
